RHINOPLASTY SURGERY Rhinoplasty Surgery

Rhinoplasty surgery first begins by listening to the patient's medical history. Then, the patient is given an appointment with the examination to be performed. This procedure, which is applied by those who are uncomfortable with the shape of the nose, is also applied by those who have a deformity in the structure of the nose caused by genetic conditions. Finally, Rhinoplasty can also be used for disorders that may occur due to trauma or accident.

In fact, there is no standard understanding of the ideal nose. According to the sociocultural and ethnic structure of societies, the concept of ideal may differ. It is also necessary to add age and gender to this. Moreover, the concept of an ideal or beautiful nose has changed throughout the historical process. Although there is no standard concept of an ideal, images close to the proportions called the “golden ratio” (1,618) in many creatures in nature and in the human body are considered beautiful and aesthetic. Since Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519), many of the ideal proportions of the body and face essentially correspond to the golden ratio.
There are also golden proportions on our face and nose. For example, the proportions of mouth width and nose width, nose length and nose projection correspond to the golden ratio. An ideal percentage; the face is divided into 3 equal parts in the horizontal plan and 5 equal parts in the vertical plan. The nose has ideal proportions with other structures of the face and with the nose itself. These rates are taken into account in the operation. In women and men, the angles and proportions of the nose with other facial structures differ. For example, the Nasofrontal (nose-forehead) angle is 115–130º, the Nasolabial (nose-lip) angle is 90-120º. It is convenient that these angles are wider in women and narrower in men. As a result, the ideal nose is a nose that is aesthetically in harmony with other parts of the face and looks natural, and functionally it breathes comfortably.

How is Rhinoplasty Performed?
After the nasal structure of the patients who will have rhinoplasty is examined and the necessary examination process is completed, an aesthetic operation is started by making an appointment now.
Rhinoplasty surgery is a procedure that usually lasts up to 4 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. Disorders in the nose are eliminated with an incision to be removed from the nostrils. Necessary interventions are performed for individuals who also have problems with the tip of the nose and the back of the nose.
Rhinoplasty is performed without damaging the surgical site. Because the nasal bones or cartilage tissue will not be damaged, there is also no risk of any complications.
